Watch Arun ...Have a Laugh!
What a week!
Give a Little Love - 2008
The Neem Tree
Give a Little Love - 2008
- We have received our first box of gifts, so how exciting
- Please tell all team members about this....and anyone else involved, I am sure we can hit our target....lets get the momentum going here!
- We will be sending out over 1000 letters to leads on the samera database so hopefully this will work!
- Video to go out today...you can have a laugh at me here below! You can pass this video onto anyone you know!
The Neem Tree
- Citigroup - despite the deflating economy, and i am sure the large expected job losses at citigroup, we need to move forward and upwards. The economy is having a tough time, therefore many of our customers will be having a tough time, so we need to stand strong and improve our delivery of services. A little bit extra from our side, can go along way in making our customers delighted...i know you can do it! This will benefit all!
- CW Promo went down a treat last week, so we will keep this moving in December and the New Year!
- Wandsworth practice all fully repaired and back to working, thanks for organising this Gabi.
- Haleema's baby is due shortly, so hopefully some new fruit of the neem tree will arrive soon! Good luck Haleema.
- Hygiene is pretty quiet at the moment so if dentists can refer to hygiene that would be MUCHO appreciated!
- Further expansion going on, moving strength to strength. Chap from India here to help us grow global!
- Moving a lot to video on line, so we will be running updates, courses etc all online with video. It is a very exciting stage of development!
- Samera team moving to a four hour week.

What a week!
No this is not our new business strapline, this is a name of a shop in Edinburgh. Stand out or what?
By the events going on in the Samera and The Neem Tree Fold we are genuinely "The Mutts Nuts" so well done to everyone for being great....but there is loads we can do more of to be even greater!
If you are reading this and the rest of the team have no idea what this is all about tell them to join here!
Please have a read and get others to join this blog, if you want to know what is going on in the business!
Samera
- Recovering from wee bonnie Scotland, so much has gone on after our Straumann trip:
- New business
- New clients
- New ideas
- New charity drive - "Give a little Love 2008" launched with some clients saying they are going to help...watch this space for more info about this! I have a great feeling about this, all suggestions and ideas welcomed! If you have not seen this yet click here to learn more!
- Met with many dentists this week all over the place, and feedback from clients is we are doing great!!!!!
- Ortho open evening was a resounding success! Well done to all people for getting this working and the first of many to come!
- Feedback on the Observation day at Canary Wharf site went down well. All are doing a great job, but in these times of economic uncertainty, we all need to raise our game across the whole business, so the little details count. You know what they are....so make it happen! It will benefit all concerned!
Watch out for Kim Cattrell and SJP doing the rounds at the Samera offices. Have a great one!
Thanks and have a wicked week ahead!

Rocking Update

Well done to Obama, if this man can become President, then anything is possible! He has made the impossible possible, the invisible, visible..... So any of us can make it happen!! Have an awesome week!
Updates this week! Please make sure you read this and ensure other team members read this too...encourage them to visit this site or join it via email.
Samera
- Barbara and Sylvie in the wee highlands of Edinburgh representing the Samera team at The Straumann Implant Conference....Good luck ladies. I will be with you on Friday but am in spirit with you today too!
- Excellent cost comparison of dental materials sent out to over 1000 practices in the UK via the Samera newsletter - thanks to Gabi and the neem tree girls for gathering the information.
- Arun doing a talk tonight for a group of London VT (Vocational Trainer) advisors...should be fun (?) on how the UK dental market is changing...looking forward to them taking me out for dinner.
- Welcome to Hiren to the team, our new Accounts Assistant here to support the ever growing UFC service across the UK. It's going to be an exciting 12 months as more and more practices require our expert help....so good luck Hiren!
- Arun has been working and still is on the web strategy of the whole business...all very exciting, but always takes longer than anticipated...more will be revealed in due course.
- Both practices performing strongly despite the economic cycle....we are bucking the trend due to great work by all the team but also the positioning of the business in the market place. Higher end practices still going pretty strong, problems at many mixed practices across the UK. But we cannot remain complacent!
- Canary Wharf Ortho evening next week. All team working hard to make it happen....so lets make it happen!
- SBO dental labs came to Wandsworth yesterday....telling the team about crowns etc...i hope you enjoyed it for those that attended!
- Welcome to new joiners Mana, Sigita, Zehra to the Neem Tree fold....I hope you enjoy it and good luck with your new roles!

A New Beginning
Yes, It's Official, "Samera and The Neem Tree Rocks" Blog is Now Live
This is a new exciting beginning for Samera and The Neem Tree as we move both businesses to their next stage of development. Both businesses are over 4 years old, and really could not have achieved their level of success without the commitment of those present and past at The Neem Tree and Samera.
This blog will be updated by Arun and/or Smita, at least once a week, updating each and every team member with our views, thoughts and ideas including developments in both businesses.
We strongly encourage you to read this blog, and over time I am sure you will find it a useful tool to get to know all your fellow team members in both businesses, improving communication amongst team members. Please note that this Blog is accessible to everyone in the big wide world, so please no divulging of company secrets here!
As ever, we welcome your constructive comments and feedback on the business with a view to improving everything for all those connected to the businesses, most importantly team members, and our respective customers and patients. You can post your comments directly under each blog posting or alternatively email us directly.
